The VEX EDR Teacher Certification demonstrates proficiency in concepts such as Basic Movement, Robot Math, Sensors, Direct Control and Program Flow. Obtaining this certification requires completion of the VEX EDR Professional Development training course held by Carnegie Mellon University's Robotics Academy.

Successful Participants undergo 36 hours of VEX EDR robotics content and pedagogy.
