CS2N Premium Access

• Once CS2N Premium Access has been added to an account, it is non-refundable. If you purchased it by mistake, you have 7 days from the date of purchase to contact us at cmra@nrec.ri.cmu.edu with an explanation. After the 7-day window, refunds can no longer be issued.

Virtual Robot Curriculum Licenses

• Licenses for Virtual Robot Curriculum are "Per-User, Perpetual".

• Licenses are applied to CS-STEM Network user accounts.

• Licenses do not expire. Students and teachers can learn and iterate at their own pace.

• Licenses are non-transferrable. The CS-STEM Network saves all of the individual student/teacher progress associated with each license.

• Licenses are non-refundable once they have been applied to a CS-STEM Network user account.

Certification / Micro-Certification Exam Registrations

• Certification Exam Seats are "Per-User".

• Certification Exam Seats do not currently expire. If this policy changes we will notify all users.

• Certification Exam Seats allow up to two (2) attempts per exam. For additional attempts per users, purchasing registrations for such users is required. Contact CS2N for more details.

• Certification Exam Seats are applied to CS-STEM Network user account through the purchasers' account.

• Only certified teachers are eligible to offer student certifications. Certified Teachers can offer student certifications in the course that they were certified in.

• Certification Exam Seats are non-transferrable and non-refundable once they have been applied to a CS-STEM Network user account.

Training / Professional Development Registration

• Each registration is valid for one participant only.

• Course materials, recordings, and login credentials are non-transferable. Other educators from the same school or organization must register separately to gain access.

• Registrants must provide accurate, current information during registration.

• Payment may be made via credit card or institutional purchase order. Contact cmra@nrec.ri.cmu.edu for purchase order arrangements.

• Payments processed through the CMRA online store are subject to a 3% credit card processing fee, deducted from any applicable refund.

• Refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to cmra@nrec.ri.cmu.edu.

• Requests made at least 14 calendar days prior to the class start date will receive a refund, minus the 3% processing fee.

• No refunds will be issued once 1) A class is full, or 2) the request is made within 14 calendar days of the class start date.

• CMRA reserves the right to cancel or reschedule courses due to low enrollment, instructor availability, or other unforeseen circumstances.

• If a course is canceled, registrants will be offered: 1) A full refund (minus applicable processing fees), or 2) The option to transfer to a future session. Participants who choose to transfer to a future session waive their right to request a refund for that registration.
