This certification is for instructors of beginner-level robotics programming, using the VEX IQ platform. It is administered through the Robotics Academy Professional Development program, and covers: basic robot movement (Robot Movement I), teaching math using virtual robots (Robot Math I), using feedback from sensors (Sensors I), and program control structures (Program Flow I). It also includes 36 hours of PD lessons and pedagogy-specific activities not included in the shorter student version of the curriculum.
